Performance Analysis
Top ads
12000000 Spring Sale · Worn shot A
- The largest spend at 2,380,000 KRW, and first overall on both ROAS (612.0%) and CTR (2.41%).
- A front-facing photo of a model wearing the coat, with one line of copy: "20% off new spring arrivals, until midnight tonight." Product, discount and deadline are all readable at a glance.
12000001 Spring Sale · Worn shot B
- The same sale copy with a different model, shot outdoors in natural light. ROAS 548.0% and CTR 2.05%, second behind A.
- Only the location differs from A, and the gap in results is small. The worn-shot format itself is what drives performance.
12000002 Review video · 15s
- The only video among the top ads. ROAS 503.0% and CPP 24,100 KRW, close to the worn shots in efficiency.
- A customer's face and captions appear from the first frame, so the review lands even for viewers watching on mute.
12000003 Best 3 · Carousel
- ROAS 441.0%, CTR 1.72%. The large price on every card appears to be what converts views into clicks.
12000004 Free shipping · Text only
- No image, just the line "Free shipping over 30,000 KRW", yet it reached ROAS 362.0%. Its CPM of 9,400 KRW is the highest of the top 6, however.
12000005 New member coupon
- ROAS 388.0%, CTR 1.51%. A first-order coupon creative, likely skewed toward new customers.
Comparison ads
12000006 Brand story · 30s
- CTR 0.84% and ROAS 141.0%, the lowest of the set. The product does not appear until after 20 seconds, and most viewers drop off before then.
12000007 Product only · White background
- A product photo with no copy and no people. CTR 0.92% and CPP 55,400 KRW, roughly three times the cost per purchase of the worn shots.
12000008 Influencer collab A
- ROAS 337.0%, the strongest of the comparison group. Creatives with a person in them lead even within this group.
12000009 Bundle · Carousel
- The discount is shown, but the individual items are small and hard to identify. CTR 1.12%, ROAS 204.0%.
12000010 Summer preview · Teaser
- A teaser for an unreleased product, with no purchase conversions. Not a fair subject for ROAS, so it is excluded from this analysis.
12000011 Repurchase reminder
- Small spend at 290,000 KRW, but ROAS 471.0% and CTR 1.94%, top-ad efficiency. It is shown only to existing customers, so check whether efficiency holds if the budget is raised.
Creative Pattern Analysis
What the strong creatives share
- A person comes first. Both worn shots, the review video and the influencer collab all place a person ahead of the product.
- The benefit is stated as a number. Copy with figures such as "20% off", "free shipping over 30,000 KRW" and "5,000 KRW coupon" lifted click-through.
- The product is visible within the first second. The review video's captions make the message readable from the opening frame even on mute.
What the weak creatives share
- Images with no information. The white-background product shot is clean but gives no reason to buy now.
- Videos that reveal the product late. The 30-second brand story has a long intro and few viewers reach the product.
- Carousels with tiny products. The bundle creative shows the discount but the items themselves are hard to see.
Next Creative Recommendations
- Produce 2-3 more worn shots that change only the model and location, keeping the copy as it is. This is the clearest direction in the current data.
- Test a version of the review video that fills the first 3 seconds with one review sentence as a full-screen caption.
- Use the product-only shot as card 2 behind a worn shot rather than on its own. Weak alone, but a solid supporting card.
- Double the repurchase reminder budget, then check after two weeks whether efficiency holds.
